VOTE for Linn-Mar Schools!
All News Stories
After 15 years, many elements of the Indian Creek and Novak Elementary playgrounds have worn out. Volunteers from across the District helped build the wooden structures in 1994. Today, large portions of both existing structures need be replaced. Novak will be getting a new playground when they move to their new building this summer however the Indian Creek playground simply needs to be replaced.
Volunteers are needed to help in a different way this time. Anyone over the age of 18 can help by visiting a U.S. Cellular Store. From November 13, 2009, through January 15, 2010, visit any U.S. Cellular store to get a code to use online to vote. You do not need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to vote. A vote for Novak or Indian Creek will help both playgrounds.
Listed below are metro locations; however, anyone across the United States can visit any store and get a code to vote online. So ask all your friends and relatives to help! The best part is there is no purchase necessary to vote. Go to www.uscellular.com to find a location outside the metro area.
The ten schools with the most votes will receive $100,000 to use however they choose. If Indian Creek is a winner, they plan to use the money to replace the ailing playground. Show your school spirit by casting your vote!
It is important to note that each adult may vote only one time. Multiple voters can use the same e-mail address to vote as long as they each have individual voting cards. Only one voting card will be given to each person. Voters email addresses will not be sold.
