School Notifications now available in new formats
For the past several years, the Linn-Mar Community School District
used OneNotify to distribute information about late starts, early
releases, etc. The district has recently added Facebook and Twitter as a
means of distributing this type of communication. Go to the Linn-Mar
website and click on the corresponding icons to sign up for notification
via these social media sites including the option to have SMS messages
sent directly to your cell phone.
All information is also communicated on the banner at the top of the
District website and to local news media, some of which have the ability
to sign up for SMS notification.
You can also sign up to be notified of changes in middle school and
high school activities. Go to
