Sadie Staker

Sadie is a junior at Linn-Mar High School. She was instrumental in the coordination of the recent Kidizenship Community Volunteer Fair at Oak Ridge Middle School.

The event brought together representatives from 10 public service agencies. The students had the opportunity to meet with the various groups and discover how they could help their community by becoming volunteers.

Participating organizations ranged from Trees Forever to Habitat for Humanity. Sadie got the idea for the Kidizenship Fair from a project she did several years ago in Girl Scouts.

When she’s not coordinating community events, Sadie is involved in Vocal Music, Orchestra, Cross Country and the TAG Program at Linn-Mar.
