Big Week for L-M Wrestlers

Congratulations to the Linn-Mar wrestling team. They took 7th in Class 3A at the State Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Tate Naaktgeboren captured the 160-pound first place title in Class 3A. That makes him Linn-Mar’s 14th titlist.

Kane Naaktgeboren came in 5th at 120, Bryce Parke placed 3rd at 132, Abass Kemokai was 5th at 152, Luke Gaffney came in 5th at 220.

Linn-Mar had seven wrestlers qualify for the state tournament. Kane Naaktgeboren, Brayden Parke, Bryce Parke, Grant Kress, Abass Kemokai, Tate Naaktgeboren, and Luke Gaffney. They all took first in their weight classes at the district tournament..

Earlier in the week, our wrestlers had a 6th place finish in the class 3A Duals Tournament.
