Returning Student Registration Process
We are excited to welcome our returning families back to the Linn-Mar Community School District for the school year. Taking the time to update your student’s information will help ensure you have the tools and resources you need throughout the year.Online registration for the upcoming school year begins the first week of August.
Complete eRegistration Here
- From the navigation menu, click on FORMS and then the ENROLLMENT tab.
- Please be sure to complete and submit each form, even if the information has not changed.
- Repeat this process for any additional students by clicking on their name in the upper left corner.
Parents will find that student legal names are listed in PowerSchool. In accordance with Iowa Code, parents may indicate that their student has permission to use a different name, nickname, pronoun or gender identity by completing the Student Name Preference form within PowerSchool.

My child is going to start preschool. Where can I learn more about this program?
This is an exciting time for your child, and we welcome you and your child to our district. You can learn more about Little Lions Preschool registration and registration information for Junior Kindergarten in other sections of our website.
What forms are required to be completed for registration?
Most forms needed to register students who have previously been enrolled at Linn-Mar will be available by completing the eRegistration process through PowerSchool.
While most forms required as part of the student enrollment process are available in PowerSchool, our district or building staff may request that other forms be completed due to specific circumstances or are only required at a specific time. Some of these forms are listed below as a convenience to our families. Please note that these forms do not need to be completed as part of the registration process unless you are directed to them by a member of our Linn-Mar staff.
