Inquiries and grievances should be filed with Linn-Mar Equity Coordinators: Chief Officer of Human Resources, Karla Christian (319-447-3036) or Associate Superintendent, Shannon Bisgard (319-447-3028) at 2999 North Tenth Street, Marion, Iowa 52302, who have been designated by the school district to coordinate the school district’s efforts to comply with the regulations implementing Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, the ADA, § 504, and Iowa Code § 280.3 (2007).
All applicants are required to complete an electronic application as the District no longer accepts paper applications or attachments. Applicants may come to the Human Resources office located in the Learning Resource Center at 2999 N. Tenth St. for assistance in completing an online application, if needed.
Applicants will have the ability to control their application data including updating an application whenever necessary and to apply and select specific position(s) with the click of a button.
Completed applicant files will be screened by the person in charge of selecting candidates to be considered.
Salary Schedule (Certified Staff)
All teaching and associate substitute applicants will need to register through subcentral.gwaea.org.
The registration system is where new teachers and paraprofessional/associate employees create a profile, where current teachers and paraprofessional/associate employees submit location and classification changes, and where new substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessional/associates sign up.
