Girls Swimming and Diving Take 8th Place at State

Congratulations to the Linn-Mar Girls Swimming and Diving Team. They topped all metro area schools, with an 8th place finish at the State Tournament in Marshalltown.

The team of Ella Wagner, Hayley Kimmel, Lilly Geelan, and Lily Haars took 13th in the 200 medley relay. Lucy Haars took 15th in the 200 freestyle. Hayley Kimmel was 7th in the 200 individual medley.

Lucy Haars came in 15th in the 100 freestyle. Hayley Kimmel, Lucy Haars, Ella Wagner and  Lily Haars were 7th in the 200 freestyle relay. Hayley Kimmel was 3rd in the 100 breaststroke, and  Lucy Haars, Lilly Geelan, Emily Brennom, and Lily Haars took 13th in the 400 freestyle relay.

In one-meter diving, Corrin Williams took 8th, Reese Miller was 17th and Maggie Schlamp placed 24th.
