Jacob Wempen Takes Top Spot at State Wrestling Tournament

Congratulations to LMHS Senior Jacob Wempen!

Jacob took the top spot in the 182 lb. weight class at the state wrestling tournament in Des Moines.

Jacob becomes the eighth Linn-Mar wrestler to earn a state wrestling title.

Linn-Mar Senior Tanner Schultz took 7th place in his weight class.

Kudos to Brandon O’Brien, Bryce Parke, Samuel Gisaya, Abass Kemokai, Jacob Wempen, and Tanner Schultz for representing the district at the state wrestling tournament!
