Linn-Mar Innovation Day
Linn-Mar Community Schools are excited to offer a full day of professional learning for educators Monday, October 8, 2018. Innovation is not an event; it is building system capacity for teachers and students. The day of professional development will focus on innovation at the secondary level. Participants will have the opportunity to focus on one specific area of interest.
Innovative Topics include:
Blended Learning – Linn-Mar HS
PBIS – Excelsior Middle School
Standards Based Grading – Oak Ridge Middle School

8:30-9:00 Networking (Coffee and bagels @ LMHS)
9:00-9:45 Welcome and Opening Session
9:45-10:00 Travel to buildings/break
10:00-12:00 Learning Block 1
12:00-12:45 Lunch provided
12:45-2:00 Learning Block 2
2:00 Innovation Day ends –survey to all participants
