L-M School Board Candidate Forum Tonight

School Board Candidates running for office in the September 12th election, will take part in a candidate forum hosted by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and the Marion Economic Development Corporation.

The forum of Linn-Mar Community School District candidates will take place Tuesday, August 15th from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Lowe Park Arts and Environment Center. The center is located at 4500 North 10th Street in Marion.

The event will follow a question and answer format, giving voters an opportunity to submit questions to a moderator. The forum will be moderated by Bob Hoyt, a retired middle school principal in the Marion Independent School District.

On September 12th, voters will be asked to choose three Directors at Large, from a list of six candidates.
