LMHS Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Linn Mar High School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - group photo - students - board of education - superintendent - marion ambassadorsLinn-Mar High School hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, January 30 to celebrate theĀ completion and everyone’s efforts with the various renovations projects to the school.

Students, Dr. Quintin Shepherd, superintendent, the Board of Education, L-M administrators and staff were in attendance at the ceremony which took place at Pride Rock Commons. Marion Mayor Nick AbouAssaly, former Linn-Mar Superintendent Katie Mulholland, the Marion Chamber Ambassadors, various community leaders and representatives from the various constructions teams were also in attendance.

“Right here in this spot, you can’t help but realize what a wonderful place of designation this is our school district and really for our community,” said Dr. Shepherd encapsulating everything that has been accomplished.

“This renovation is one of the best things that’s happened here at Linn-Mar since I’ve been here,” added Student Council President Scott Laubengayer.
