LMHS Spectrum Receives Iowa Safe Schools Award

Linn-Mar Spectrum, the student-led Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) at the high school, was recently named GSA of the year by the Iowa Safe Schools at their Spirit Awards in Des Moines.

During its 17 years in existence at Linn-Mar, Spectrum has promoted student awareness of the LGBT community and strives to share its message of universal acceptance of all students.
