LMHS Students Chosen to Perform at 2018 All-State Music Festival
Congratulations to all the Linn-Mar High School musicians who participated in the Iowa All-State auditions in Independence, Iowa on Saturday, October 20. The LMHS Music Department had a total of 87 students audition for an opportunity to perform at the 2018 Iowa All-State Music Festival. Of those who auditioned, 48 were accepted to either the Iowa All-State band, orchestra or choir.
There were 15 accepted to the All-State Band with 2 alternates, 19 string players accepted to the All-State Orchestra with 3 alternates, and 14 accepted to the All-State Chorus.
