LMHS Students Create MASS Tutoring Center

Helping students in the areas of Math, ACT, SAT and Science is the goal of the new MASS Tutoring Center at Linn-Mar High School.

Each day, the tutoring center offers sessions on specific topics to help students with science and math. On Friday they offer ACT and SAT tutoring.

The tutoring center is in Conference Room 141-A, also known as “the fishbowl room”. It’s next door to Mr. Meeker’s science classroom.

The MASS Center is open before school starting at 7:45, during the school day from 1st to 6th period, and after school until 3:45.

Students can schedule one on one tutoring by visiting the MASS Center website.

Justin Yem, one of the organizers of the MASS Center says, “Students are always welcome to come to the MASS center if they have any questions. We are ready to tutor anyone who needs help, with or without an appointment, so don’t be afraid to stop by!”

Students can email the MASS Center at themasscenter@gmail.com and are encouraged to follow the MASS Center on Instagram or Twitter @TheMASSCenter.
