Middle School Orchestra Holiday Tour is a Success!

Chamber orchestras from Excelsior and Oak Ridge Middle Schools impressed the crowds during their Annual Holiday Tour.  

The concerts were made up of 7th and 8th grade Chamber Orchestras from each building, and the Junior Chamber Orchestra, a combined group of 6th graders from both Middle Schools.

The tour took the students to Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, The Villages in Marion and a final combined concert at Lindale Mall.   

The Holiday Tour has become an annual tradition at Linn-Mar, creating a true multi-generational educational experience.  The orchestra members had a great time and the event really put everyone in the holiday spirit.
