Nutrition Services Ready With a New Menu Program

Parents can learn even more detailed nutritional information about the Linn-Mar Breakfast and Lunch menus, thanks to a new program called Nutrislice. 

The very user-friendly program includes a complete nutritional breakdown and ingredients for every item on the menu. Parent response to Nutrislice has already been very positive.

The new menu program was just one of several topics shared with the nutrition services staff during their first meeting of the year. The crew also brushed up on proper food safety, working with allergens, and other procedures. Presenters shared work safety techniques including proper lifting and bending.

All district kitchens will be serving breakfast and lunch starting Tuesday, August 23rd.

Menu prices for the 2022-23 school year are as follows: 

Student Breakfasts are $2.00, Reduced breakfast $0.30 Adult/Guest Breakfast $2.40

Elementary lunch $3.00, Intermediate and Middle School lunch $3.05. High School lunch $3.15

Reduced Lunch $0.40, Adult/Guest Lunch $4.15, Additional Milk $0.50
