“The Polar Express” a Westfield Tradition

In what has become an annual holiday tradition at Westfield Elementary, students enjoy hot cocoa as they listen to Principal Ed Rogers as he reads “The Polar Express” by Chris VanAllsburg over the intercom to the entire building.

Most classes use technology to enhance the experience. Teachers project the illustrations from the book on to screens in their classrooms.
