Robotics Student Named Dean’s List Finalist from Iowa

Congratulations to Evan Walter, who has been selected as one of four students from the state of Iowa as a FIRST Dean’s List Finalist in the FIRST Tech Challenge program.

A sophomore at Linn-Mar High School and a second-year member of FTC Team 4150, Dark Matter, in the Linn-Mar Robotics program, Evan will be in the running for the FIRST Dean’s List Award at the FIRST Championship in April.

The FIRST Dean’s List Award recognizes the leadership and dedication of the most outstanding FIRST Tech Challenge students in 10th or 11th grade. Nominees are great examples of student leaders who achieve personal technical expertise and who have led their Teams and communities to increased awareness for FIRST and its mission.
