Students Create Award Winning Bookmarks for America Reads
Bookmarks featuring artwork by some award-winning Linn-Mar artists will be coming home in elementary school backpacks very soon.
The bookmark created by Allie F. from Echo Hill was one of five Grand Prize winners chosen from throughout the metro area.
It’s all part of the America Reads 2019 Bookmark competition. Area students participated in the contest that was held by our local libraries this summer.
Linn-Mar is also proud of our seven semifinalists, Aditi V. from Bowman Woods; Rory B. and Layla B. from Novak; and Lily A., Maddie H., Leva J., and Saisha R. from Westfield.
