Volleyball Heading to State Tournament

Linn-Mar Volleyball is going to state! The girls held off Pleasant Valley in four games to win the match 3 to 1 Monday night in our gym.

The girls now face Cedar Rapids Jefferson in the first round of the state tournament on Tuesday, November 6th. The State Volleyball Tournament takes place at the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Linn-Mar currently has a record of 31 wins and 9 losses. The game against Jefferson will start at 2:00 PM on Court One.

The U.S. Cellular Center will be conducting bag checks at the two entry points to the arena. Spectators may not bring in backpacks, large bags, suitcases or sealed packages. Diaper bags are permitted for families with small children.
