Linn Grove  Elementary

School History

Linn Grove Elementary opened on August 20, 2007, under the leadership of Principal Shannon Bisgard. On the first day of school, there were 381 students, with another 31 in Alternative Kindergarten.

The district’s sixth elementary building was constructed to ease overcrowding at Wilkins elementary and to address the needs of the rapidly growing eastern part of the district.  

  • 2006 – A $27.5 million bond issue was passed to build two new elementary schools (Echo Hill Elementary and Linn Grove Elementary)
  • 2007 – Linn Grove Elementary constructed
  • 2007 – Linn Grove Elementary opens August 20

Today, Principal Lori Manley and a staff of 80 are focused on education and a positive learning experience of more than 425 students. Linn Grove staff and students focus on the three Rs of being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.
