Little Lion’s Preschool Registration Information

2021-2022 Registration Information
At noon on February 1, 2021, registration will begin for the 2021-2022 school year. Registration will be held online and computers will be available at the LRC building at 2999 North 10th Street in Marion for those needing assistance for registering their child(ren). Registration will consist of demographic information, child’s date of birth, session and location preference. In order to enroll in Little Lions Preschool, students need to be four years of age on or before September 15, 2021.
Once your online registration is submitted, it is time-stamped to the exact second, for example; one family could submit their registration at 12:04:36 and another at 12:04:37 and so forth. You will receive a confirmation message, not email, that will inform you of additional paperwork that must be submitted for your child’s registration to be considered complete. These items are listed below and can be mailed, faxed, or dropped off to the LRC on or after February 1:
Please make sure the cover page states “Attention Michaela O’Connell” and each page is labeled with your child’s name and birth date.
- Copy of immunization records
- Copy of your child’s most current physical
- Proof of birthdate (birth certificate, passport, signed immunization record by physician)
- Proof of Residency– Only need to provide mail with your name and address on it. This link takes you to examples.

FIRST deadline to send in registration materials is March 1, 2021.
Letters of preschool placements will be emailed by April, 2021, notifying families of location and session time in preschool.
Priority enrollment will be given to families that live in the Linn-Mar School District. 20% of the enrollment placements will be reserved for families that qualify as low-income for preschool openings.
Preschool locations will be at Bowman Woods, Echo Hill, Linn Grove, and Wilkins.
Morning Session at all buildings will be 8:30-11:15.
Afternoon Session at all buildings will be 12:15-3:00.

Both Hand in Hand Preschool and Collins Aerospace Day Academy follow the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards.
