Sue Hershner

“May you live each day of your life with Joy.” This quote, posted above Sue’s desk, exemplifies the approach Sue brings to each day, as a teacher of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at Oak Ridge Middle School.

Sue inspires the best in her students, helping each student know that they are valued, respected, and loved. Sue encourages her students to follow their dreams and instills in them a belief that they can achieve anything.

Sue is always on the lookout for new ideas and new methods to help her students. She is adamant about making sure each student reaches his/her potential, designing unique and relative curriculum for each child.

Sue is a wonderful example of a truly compassionate person. She is an inspiration and support for students and staff alike.
