A Holiday Tradition

It’s a Linn-Mar tradition that brings high school students together for fun and fellowship.

The annual holiday luncheon is sponsored by student-led groups SODA (Students Okay Without Drugs and Alcohol) and TRY (Teens Reaching Youth). The event has taken place each year for more than two decades.

Elected officers and class representatives from each group invite kids from the Student Services department to join in the fun.

The students and adults share a meal, participate in a holiday trivia contest, and enjoy each other’s company during the hour-long event.
