America Reads Day 2023
Nearly 500 volunteers read to PreK-6th grade students throughout the Linn-Mar district for America Reads Day! Volunteers included high school and college students, parents, grandparents, community leaders, district board members, retired and current staff. The day’s tagline, “Reading is Contagious” rang true as favorite books were shared all day and a precious story of a little one going home that evening who convinced her family to spend the whole evening together, READING!
