Coach of the Year!

Andy Strottman was named the Iowa Football Coaches Association (IFCA) Don Taft Memorial Junior High Coach of the Year in Class 5A. He has been the 7th-grade head coach at Linn-Mar for 24 years!

Andy was nominated by Varsity Head Football Coach Tim Lovell. In making the nomination, Lovell said “He is a team-first guy who teaches kids the game of football with discipline and accountability while making it a such a great experience for kids that they want to continue playing in 8th grade.

Our program is exceptionally better because of his dedication to the program; there is not a more deserving person for this award.”
