Contest Speech Individuals Named to All-State

The 2020-21 Contest Speech season has come to a close with some exciting news for Linn-Mar!

All 16 Linn-Mar individual contest speech entries that made it to the state level, received division one ratings.

Of those, five participants were chosen for All-State Recognition, in a total of seven categories, by the Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA).

Madeline Nuss-Acting and Solo Musical Theater

Lia Scharnau-Poetry

Isabel Sherman-Solo Musical Theater

Nicholas Weaver-Prose and Expository Address
