Groundbreaking Ceremonies to be Held for New Schools
On Thursday, June 27 the Linn-Mar Community School District will hold groundbreaking ceremonies to officially mark the beginning of construction for their two new intermediate schools.
At 12:00 pm, a ceremony will take place at the Hazel Point Intermediate School location at 453 Echo Hill Road (adjacent to Echo Hill Elementary). Immediately following the Hazel Point ceremony, a brief groundbreaking will take place at the Boulder Peak Intermediate School location at 3920 35th Avenue.
Site work is already underway with both schools scheduled to open for the 2020-21 school year.
