Linn-Mar High School – Spring Sports COVID-19 Guidelines

The Linn-Mar Community School District will continue operating our sporting events with safe practices and protocols in place. We have worked diligently to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and are currently experiencing improvements in our numbers of staff and students who have been exposed, quarantined, or are COVID-19 positive.

We believe it is important to continue with our safe practices and protocols so we are able to continue school in-person for our students and staff and to provide events for our student-athletes.

The following is now in effect. Please note these are ongoing changes.

Admission:
-Normal admission will be charged at each venue Exact change preferred.
Varsity events- $5-Adults, $4 for Senior Citizens & Students (K-12)
Lower Level events- $3-Adults, $2 for Senior Citizens & Students (K-12)
*MVC & Linn-Mar Passes will be accepted.

Personal Protective Equipment:
● Masks are required at all MVC venues for all Spring sports:Soccer, Tennis, Track, Golf.
● Spectators are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer or wipes.

Spectators Are Asked To:
● Perform a personal health check before arrival. Anyone experiencing a fever, or any other symptoms associated with Covid-19 must stay home.
● Practice safe social distancing (limit group to single households- 6 ft apart).
● Be patient and understanding and abide by posted signage.
● Stay home if you have been in contact w/ someone w/ a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
● Spectators not following guidelines may be asked to leave.

Attendance: 

Please refer to the 2020-2021 Spectator COVID-19 Guidelines for each school available on the conference website  Due to the nature of this pandemic guidelines could change, please check back frequently. Please comply with their expectations.

Boys/ Girls Track and Soccer at Linn-Mar High Stadium
-No spectator limitations at this time.
-Spectators are required to wear masks at all times and to socially distance.

Boys/ Girls Tennis at Linn-Mar High School (Tennis Courts)
-No spectator limitations at this time.
-Spectators are required to wear masks at all times and to socially distance.

Girls Golf at Hunters Ridge
-No spectator limitations at this time.
-Spectators are required to wear masks at all times and to socially distance.
-Clubhouse may have additional guidelines to be followed.

Concessions  At this time Linn-Mar will have a limited concessions.
