Watch KCRG 9.2 Saturday as Linn-Mar Hosts Boys State Swim Meet
Linn-Mar is the host for the 2021 Boys State Swim Meet at our Aquatic Center. Coverage will start at noon, this Saturday on KCRG 9.2.
Linn-Mar Athletic Director, Dave Brown says without local support, the event would not be possible.”We are fortunate to have a solid group of swim enthusiasts in our community who are willing to donate time to help make things run smoothly on the day of the meet.”
Adjustments are being taken during co-vid including assigned seating for teams in socially distanced locations. The main changes will be on the deck to make the space work best for the teams, along with having the swimmers have their team camps in the bleachers.
Floor markings on the pool deck, in the stands, and near the concession stand encourage team members to social distance.
Attendance will be limited to team members, coaches, and event coordinators. The event is closed to the public.
On this cold weekend, we encourage everyone to cheer on our fifth-ranked Lions from the comfort of their homes. Watch the Boys State Swim Meet on KCRG 9.2.
