We ARE Linn-Mar… We ARE Ready for Winter!

Ice, snow, and dangerous wind chills are all part of a typical Iowa winter. Linn-Mar is ready in the event that Mother Nature forces a change in our regular schedule.

We use a notification service for parental and staff outreach for weather-related announcements and emergency broadcasts. The system will send a text message to parents, guardians, and staff in the event of a safety or weather-related issue. Parents are asked to keep their contact information updated on Powerschool so we can contact you.

Public announcements will be communicated through an alert banner on the top of our website, district social media channels, and local TV and radio stations.
