Educational Opportunities

We want to be sure that young people know what to do to prevent and respond to potential emergencies. This class will develop leadership skills and teach participants how to keep themselves and others safe.

At Harmony School, students learn to work as a team while gaining powerful skills in leadership and creativity. Instruments, orchestra, music theory, and private lessons are all free of charge. Includes opportunities for scholarships and summer camps.

Our award-winning Band and Orchestra are offering summer camps, classes and lessons for intermediate and middle school students.

The annual Drake University Voice Intensive (DUVI) is a summertime camp designed for young singers ages 14+ to develop their voices and build confidence in performing and auditioning.

Iowa State Extension and Outreach Linn County 4-H offers quality summer day camps in our community. The day-long camps(9:00 am-3:00 pm)are educational, interactive, and sure to keep your child’s attention. Registration begins March 1st for our 2024 summer camps. The DNA Learning Center is a non-profit educational facility dedicated to providing a hands-on environment where scientists of all ages and skill levels can explore their passion for science, especially in the world of Genetics. Our Residential Camps are designed for students completing grades 7-10.
