Volunteer Program

Be Involved in Our Schools!

Linn-Mar Community School District has a tradition of involving the community in our schools. Community members and families work together to provide support for our students and staff. Volunteers work in our classrooms, school libraries, lunchrooms, with extra-curriculars and at special events. Volunteer chaperones are also requested for field trips, club/activity events and high school dances.

Materials Workshops are held monthly in our K-4 schools to prepare learning materials and support our staff. Check your school’s newsletter or event calendar for the dates and times of your K-4 Materials Workshop. Preschoolers are welcome to attend with their parents/guardians to this flexible commitment.

    • You’ll be updated regarding the status of your volunteer approval.
  • Once approved, you will be added to volunteer contact lists and emailed opportunities at the schools of your choice, and you can begin to volunteer.
