Which elementary buildings feed into which intermediate buildings?
The schools located on the eastern side of the district (Indian Creek, Linn Grove, Novak, and Wilkins) will attend Boulder Peak Intermediate (3920 35th Ave, Marion) for 5th and 6th grades and then head to Excelsior for middle school.

The schools located on the western side of the district (Bowman Woods, Echo Hill, and Westfield) will attend Hazel Point Intermediate (453 Echo Hill Rd, Marion) for 5th and 6th grades and then head to Oak Ridge for middle school.

Will there be a performance space in the new buildings?

Yes, the gym is being designed with that in mind.

How many kids in each neighborhood/village?
There will be approximately 100 kids in each “neighborhood.”

What will recess spaces look like?
Hard surface and green space for more large motor activities.

School name decision/process?
The decision process is expected to take place in the Spring and Summer of 2019. Watch for updates of specifics of the process, following upcoming board meetings.

How many classrooms are in each building?  
32 general education classrooms with a variety of other purpose classrooms

Will Olweus be a part the 5-6 lesson plans?
Olweus will continue in both buildings.
